Abay Bank S.C. has donated 10 million Birr to drought affected community around Waghimra and North Gondar areas during the occasion held at headquarters of the bank. 

Yehuala Gesesse, Chief Executive Officer of Abay Bank has handed over the donation to Alemayehu Wase (PhD), Executive Director Organization for Rehabilitation and Development in Amhara (ORDA). 

During the occasion, Yehuala noted that Abay Bank is intensively participating in rehabilitation activities; adding that, the bank will enhance its corporate social responsibilities in the future. 

Dr. Alemayehu on his part said that he is thankful to Abay Bank for its unwavering cooperation to help drought affected citizens. He added that the donation will be immediately delivered to citizens via ORDA with no time.         

Recently, Abay Bank has donated four million Birr worth wheat flour to drought affected community around Waghimra and Sekota areas.
