Abay Bank S.C. has granted Birr 360,000.00 to Sheger City, Furi Sub City Islamic Affairs Council.  

Abubeker Nezir, Acting Deputy Chief Officer of the Bank’s Sadiiq- Interest Free Banking Service has handed over the donation to Dr. Amin Mohammed Ali, Chairperson- Furi Sub City Islamic Affairs Council, during the awareness creation session organized by the council. 

During the session, Abay Bank’s Shariah Advisory Committee members and the Muslim community have attended the discussion on issues related to Interest Free Banking Services of the Bank.

Recently, Abay Bank and Furi Sub City Islamic Affairs Council have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to work in partnership with the Bank’s Sadiiq – Interest Free Banking Services.
