Abay Bank S.C. has built and inaugurated female student latrines and portable water projects at Bahir Dar Preparatory School.

On the inauguration ceremony, Manager of Abay Bank Bahir Dar District, Sisay Tsegaye said that Abay Bank immensely supports and participates in socially responsible causes and will maximize its contribution comprehensively.

Mr Sisay added that the projects would ease female students’ challenges at the school and create a better learning environment for school community at large. The construction of the projects was undertaken by Abay Bank and Splash International Ethiopia jointly. Abay Bank S.C., as part of its corporate social responsibilities, discharges various programs for the well-being of societies, and recently the Bank’s Management and employees donated blood to National Blood Bank Services (NBBS).
